Daniel welcomed all of the new members to the tower.
The new members are:

Fees and Subscriptions

Daniel encouraged all members to become members of the Oxford Diocesan Guild
of Change Ringers, members subs are due ASAP at £6.
The tower has an account with the PCC for repairs which is at around Currently the Tower charges £120 for weddings: £12 to each ringer and £24 to a Central fund. This is for 8 bells but I’m thinking about changing this to 6 bells and charging more for 8 bells. This is to increase the fund. Also as we charge for the bells Daniel feels that the ringing needs to be at a high standard, at the moment the band is not strong enough to have the full peal rung at the high standard, and to ring all 8 well, he will need to bring in outside ringers at a higher cost. Margaret suggested to keep it to only 6 bells as most people cant really tell the difference. Agreed by the band and needs to be agreed by PPC (Margaret to bring up at next PPC). John asked to have Subs checked, under the impression that already paid in January

Geoff:  

1. All pulleys need to be cleaned
2. Pipes around rope on first landing need to be installed
3. Frame need tightening
4. No. 4 bell clapper needs to be straightened as it is off struck.
5. No. 2 bell Wheel needs to be looked at again.

Daniel asked about the crack in the South window in the Belfry.
Geoff said that it has been looked at but will monitor it each month.

When a list is released by the ODG I will post it in the tower, also email it to those with Email.

Sylvia:

1. 18th July Tower Cleaning
2. 9th August BBQ at Sylvia’s
3. 24th October local ringing outing

Daniel asked about the Christmas dinner.
This is to be confirmed at a later date.

It was decided to keep the practice night on a Tuesday.

John: the Christmas Eve wedding, are bells needed.
Daniel will check with the Peter (church Verger)
John: Will the Ringers be giving Winkfield a token for letting us use there tower?
Daniel suggested a donation of £5 - £10 per ringer.
Margaret suggested if a donation is made by the ringers she will ask if the PCC would double it, or even get it covered by the insurance. (Margaret to ask at next PCC)
Daniel brought up the need of a first aid box within the tower and a tower tool kit that is needed as the only tools in use are Geoff’s. (Margaret to ask at PCC)
